The Crest Hotel is in a good city location, friendly helpful staff, is very comfortable (great spa-like bathroom), lovely dining room (delicious menu choices) and just a beautiful hotel. We have stayed there before, will stay there again and can honestly recommend Crest Hotel to anyone.
I'll tell you after I hear from the accounting dept. When I got my Visa statement, I have been charged for Sept 3, 2012. We checked out early Sept 2nd as we had to be at the ferry heading for Port Harding. We was on Vancouver Island on Sept 3rd. The girl who checked us in was very nervous. She explained that she was in training. Might be wise to have someone with experience there to help the trainees out.
Bathroom was extremely small. Breakfast not included which at this rate it should be!
Very comfortable. Magnificent view of harbour activities (cruise ship docked right outside our window). Two eagles perched just outside our window.
Rather cramped in room, washroom. Internet service spotty. Neither a big deal.
Great dinning area, good food and view. Comfortable bed and lots of fresh clean towels.
The Hot Tub needed some attention, dirty and low on water. The single elevator is old and slow.
It was a visit back in time as I had lived at the Crest in the mid 90's when the company I worked for was buiding an operation the in the Industrial area. I stayed on my birthday and the staff looked after me extremely well.
I could not get the mirror in the bathroom (which also doubles as a YV monitor) to lighten up when I was shaving.
size of washroom in room
Wonderful view. Awesome meals. Price was higher than I usually pay but worth it.
Wish we had had longer there to enjoy it even more. Staff were fabulous; room was much better than the price we paid for it; food was excellent.
Friendly reception, good beds, large flat screen tv, The view from the restaurant is outstanding. Had a feeling of old fashioned luxury probably the original hotel in Prince Rupert
The rooms were not large and some furnishing were a little tired / old fashioned.I stayed on Saturday evening and with a casino nearby there was some noise both inside and outside the hotel until late but not unduly disturbing.
Clean bright enternce, foya, main floor layout, easy accsess to resterant, lounge, clean rooms, comforable beds. Friendly staff very professinal.
Rooms with floors above you can here people talking and walking . Had to sleep with earplugs.
I appreciated the hospitable interactions with all staff. The service in Charley's was amazing! Front desk staff facilitated the needs I had for business services.
We totally enjoyed our stay. They were so very friendly and helpful at the front desk. The waitress in the restaurant was very kind and sweet. We had a late breakfast and enjoyed the food, scenery and atmosphere. Our room was clean and we were very impressed with the view and used the binoculars and the window seat. Even the shower was such a treat. The attitude and friendliness of the people at the front desk made it such a wonderful welcome and departure. We will be back! :)
The view and the staff were outstanding.
The cable TV was sub-standard. If you are going to have nice LCD tvs then you should have better cable supplied to watch them with. You have HDTVs - get HDTV from your cable provider or switch providers. I would suggest TELUS Optik TV: It is the best in the world.
